Wright County Supervisors faces a varied agenda.

 At their meeting on Monday the Wright County Board of Supervisors approved a 28-E agreement with the city of Belmond for the resurfacing of 140th Street. The resurfacing will cover an area of 6,600 square feet as a farm to market project. The costs will be split between the city of Belmond and Wright County. Work on the project is set to begin later this summer.

The supervisors also approved two bridge projects for next year. The work will involve the bridges located two miles southwest of Eagle Grove  and eight miles north of Clarion. Bids for the bridge projects will be accepted next January.

McClure Engineering of Fort Dodge was appointed as the engineer for the Drainage District 33 tile investigation project.

The Wright County supervisors met with Cory Jackson of Wellmark on the Wellness program for county employees. The goal of the program is to help reduce the insurance premiums thanks to the active participation of county employees in leading healthier lives.Jackson and the Wright County Wellness Committee will make recommendations for the supervisors to review at the first supervisors board meeting in August.

A budget amendment in the amount of $85,667 was approved by the Wright County supervisors Monday. The money will be for the Wright County Foundation and for work on the new case management office in the Wright County Professional Building in Clarion.
