Webster City Police investigating two accidents in the community.

 Details of a car pickup accident on Friday at First and Broadway were released Tuesday morning by Webster City Police. Reportedly a westbound 2007 Honda Accord driven by Anne Kersten of Fort Dodge pulled into the intersection after she apparently did not stop at the stop sign. The Kersten car was struck by a southbound 2000 GMC Sonoma pickup truck driven by Linda Bowers of Webster City. Both drivers escaped injury in the accident. Investigating Captain Tony Janssen estimated the damage to the Kersten car at $3000 and an estimated $1500 in damages to the Bowers pickup.

 

Webster City Police investigated a two vehicle accident shortly after 5:00 Monday afternoon in the parking lot of the Wolfe Eye Clinic on Division Street. A 1999 Dodge Caravan driven by Dawn Durivage of Webster City and a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu operated by Cheri Caruth also of Webster City were both backing up at the same time. The two vehicles collided with one another. Investigating officer Joel Delaney estimated the damage to the Durivage car at $100 and an estimated $2500 in damages to the Caruth car. No injuries were reported.
