Posted: Nov 19 2013 by ppowers

A Webster City man left Tuesday morning to join 13 American Red Cross members in assisting with the disaster relief efforts in Illinois and Indiana from the tornadoes of November 17. George Caggiano will join the Iowa delegation to help with the victims affected by the storm. Caggiano will report to the Peoria office of the American Red Cross and then will be dispatched to one of the communities that need assistance. It is likely that he will be in the damaged area until at least next week. Six people were killed with damage estimates expected to reach into the millions of dollars.
