Webster City City Council's final meeting for 2013 set for Monday night.

 The final meeting of 2013 for the Webster City City Counicl is set for Monday evening at 7:00 in the city hall council chambers. There will be two presentations at this meeting. The first one will be by Iowa Department of Natural Resources District Forester Joe Herring on the Emerald Ash Borer situation.The second presentation will be a report on chamber activities by Webster City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb Brown. The report and recommendations by the Hotel Motel Tax Board will be presented to the council for approval. A resolution designating the placement of public safety signs at 605 Second Street and the northwest corner of Willson Avenue and Second Street will be considered by the Webster City City Council. There will be three public hearings at Monday's council session. The first hearing at 7:15 p.m. is for the Webster City Comprehensive Plan. The second hearing at 7:20 p.m is for the zoning of fences in the city. The third hearing is for the proposed sale of city owned property located in Willson Funk and Company addition adjacent to John Street at 7:25 p.m.

The Webster City City Council will set January 20 at 7:15 p.m. for a public hearing on the proposed sale of the city owned property located in the Southeast Development Park Number 4. 

Monday's meeting will be the final one for Janet Adams as mayor and for council members Linda Conaway and Jerry Kloberdanz.
