Webster City City Council to meet this Monday evening.

 The next meeting of the Webster City City Council will be this Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers. One of the agenda items is a public hearing at 7:15 p.m. on designating the 2013 Fairmeadow Urban Renewal Area and on an urban renewal plan and project for the new location of Webster City Federal Savings Bank. The council will consider a resolution to set the date of Monday,August 5 at 7:15 p.m. for a meeting on the development agreement with Webster City Federal Savings Bank including an annual appropriation of tax increment payments in an amount not to exceed $500,000.In other matters, the council will consider a request from Mike Wiemann to block off 8 to 10 consecutive parking stalls on the north and south side of the 600 block of Second Street from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday,July 17  to promote a special night of racing at the Hamilton County Speedway that same evening. A resolution providing for the reduction of an interest rate for a Sewer Revenue Bond will also be considered.
