Webster City City Council to meet this Monday evening.

 The next meeting of the Webster City City Council will be this Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. Agenda items will include a report from Hamilton County Solid Waste Commission representative Eugene Gray. The second reading on a proposed ordinance providing the addition of a No Parking zone on the east side of Lynx Avenue will be read. In other matters, the council will make a motion on a request to submit a grant application for the COPS (Community Oriented Policing Services) Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, consider to extend the contract with Williams and Company for the city of Webster City annual audit and make a motion for an interim social media contract for economic development purposes. The Webster City City Council will make a motion on a three year employment agreement for the city manager. There will be two public hearings at Monday's meeting. The first one at 7:15 p.m. will be on amending the 2012-13 budget . The  second hearing is on the proposition of approving and consenting to the amended and restated Lehigh Webster Transmission and Webster Terminals Facilities and Operating Agreement between and among Corn Belt Power Cooperative, MidAmerican Energy Company, the Webster City Municipal Electric Utility and certain other electric utilizes.

Following the meeting, the Webster City city council will meet in closed session to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent followed by a discussion on the purchase of particular real estate in the community. Monday evening's council meeting will be telecast on Cable Channel 12 in Webster City.
