Webster City City Council to meet on Monday evening.

 Another meeting of the Webster City City Council will be Monday at 5:15 in the city council chambers. Webster City Chamber of Commerce director Deb Brown will report on what is happening at the local chamber office. Appointments will be made to the Civil Service Commission, the Hamilton County Solid Waste Commission and an assistant city attorney for the term ending December 31,2014. The council will consider a request from Legacy Learning Boone River Valley Group to reallocate Hotel/Motel Tax Grant monies awarded to the Hamilton County Conservation on July 1,2013. A resolution accepting the work, and payment to Layne Christensen Company of Aurora,Illinois for well number 8 will be approved. An agreement with Stein Heating and Cooling for an economic incentive package will also be considered.

The Webster City city council Monday will set April 7 for three public hearings.The first is for the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2014 Street Improvement Project. The second is for the work on the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The third hearing to be set for the work on the Willson Avenue Bridge Repair Project. There will also be the first reading on a proposed ordinance amending the Webster City Animal Protection and Control law.
