Webster City City Council to consider report from the Hotel Motel Tax Commission.

 Recommendations for funding the projects through hotel motel tax funds will be one of the items facing the Webster City City Council on Monday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. There will be requests from the Water Plant Superintendent to hire Northway Well and Pump Company to pull and plug Well number 5 and to accept the bid from Electric Pump for pumps and motors in the Booster Station. A request from the Wilson Brewer Historic Park Committee to extend the funds for the Depot gutter project into the 2014-15 budget will be considered. There will be a discussion on options for the removal of the large amount of trash and debris which has dumped in the compost pile at the city street department. Two public hearings will be a part of the Monday city council meeting. The first one at 5:30 is for the sale of city owned property at 1116 Elm Street. The second hearing at 5:35 p.m. is for the amending of an ordinance for detached garages. The Webster City City Council have the second reading on the proposed ordinance for animal protection and countrol.

Two public hearings for August 4 will be set by the council Monday. The first one is for the proposed specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2014 Water Plant Filter Replacement Project at 5:30 p.m. The second is for the proposed specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2014 Water Main Replacement project.

There will be a closed meeting of the council to discuss matters that are in litigation or where litigation is imminent with city attorney Gary Groves and assistant city attorney Zach Chizek.
