Webster City City Council meets this Monday evening.

The next meeting of the Webster City City Council will be this Monday evening at 7:00 in the council chambers. There will be the second reading on the proposed ordinance on electric rates sold by the City of Webster City. A request from Nick Hassebrock on the sump pump ordinance will be discussed. The council will appoint a member to serve on the Hotel Motel Tax Board for the unexpired term ending May 31,2015. A resolution accepting the work, authorizing a payment in the amount of $1,567 now and the final retainage in the amount of $31,619 in 30 days to Fort Dodge Asphalt for the completion of the 2012 Street Improvement Project.  In other matters, the Webster City City Council will consider a resolution to enter into a contract with Cropland Containers, Incorporated of Webster City for the award of a Performance Grant to Support Economic Development and Job Creation. The date of November 5th will be set for two public hearings. The first one is at 7:15 p.m. for the submittal of a Community Development Block Grant Application for Housing Rehabilitation. The second hearing is for amending the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to definitions for certain uses necessitating a development agreement.
