Webster City American Legion swears in new officers Tuesday evening.

 Officers for the 2013-14 were sworn in at the monthly meeting of the Webster City American Legion Post 191 membership on Tuesday evening. Ron Keigan was named commander,Dale Caquelin as first vice commander, Marvin Carr as second vice commander, Leo Lanctot as adjutant, Bruce Johnston as Chaplin, Lee Ayers will serve as historian, Mike Whipple as sergeant at arms, Kevin Carlson as finance officer Jim Burnett as finance officer, Richard Peterson as membership officer with Richard Peterson, Mel Randall and Randy Youngdale to serve as executive committee officers. After taking the oath of office,Keigan presented past commander Doug Johnson with a certificate of appreciation for his term as commander. Harold Martin received a certificate for his work in planning the Avenue of Flags in Graceland Cemetery.
