Trott murder trial continues today.

 The jury in the trial of Corey Trott heard a taped interview Wednesday in which expressed no regret in the shooting of Rockwell City Police officer Jamie Buenting.Buenting was shot by Trott during a standoff on September 13,2013. Earlier this year Trott pleaded not guilty to the shooting of Buenting. In the taped interview, Trott told Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Special Agent Jon Turbett that he had many run-ins with the Rockwell City Police including being harassed and constantly being watched.Testimony on Wednesday included statements from Webster County Sherriff Sgt. Luke Fleener who was the commander of the tactical team during the standoff and Rockwell City Assistant Police Chief Mike Anderson. There will be more testimony in the trial Thursday in the Wright County District Courtroom in Clarion.
