Southfield Wellness Community Car and Tractor Show draws 350 visitors!

 A cloudy and cool afternoon did not stop the estimated 350  visitors to Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City on Sunday for the 12th annual Car and Tractor Show. 100 cars, trucks and tractors were featured in this year's show. Here are the People's Choice Award winners. In the car division, the first place winner was Steve and A.J. Dorsey of Callender for their 1951 Mercury. Second place winner was Rick Anderson of Fort Dodge for a 1974 Chevrolet Step Side Low Rider. The third place winner was Jim Rodamaker of Fort Dodge for his 1949 Studebaker with camper. In the tractor division,the first place winner was Scott Rasmussen of Goldfield for Sarah's Big Girl Trike made from tractor parts. The second place winner was Jayden Lacey for the John Deere Child's replica tractor and wagon. In the Driver's Choice Awards, the first place winner in the car division was Brandon Staples of Carroll for his 1961 Chevrolet Apache 10. Second place winner was Larry Brim of Webster City for a 1932 Ford. The first place winner in the tractor division was Trent Stone for a 1954 Ford NAA. Second place went to a tractor owned by Gub Christeson of Webster City.
