RV TV is a huge hit for downtown Webster Cit!
Posted: Sep 12 2013 by ppowers

A huge crowd descended on downtown Webster City Wednesday as WHO-TV's RV TV arrived in the community. Keith Murphy and Andy Fales received a warm welcome as they arrived shortly before noon with their RV that has been traveling across central Iowa in preparation for Saturday's Iowa Iowa State football game. Those attending enjoyed the appearances of the team mascots Herky and Cy representing the two universities. The late afternoon and evening featured games for young and old, a chili cook off, a bounce house, Doodlebug races, tug of war contest, bean bag contest and an appearance by the Dance Connection. Murphy told KQWC that he was amazed by the turnout for RV TV. Following an overnight stop in Webster City, the RV heads to Iowa Falls for the same activities. The last stop will be Friday in Ames in preparation for Saturday's football game at Jack Trice Stadium.
