Pony Express Toll Road is a success

Motorists in Webster City contributed an estimated $1800 during the annual Pony Express Riders toll road operation on Saturday. The riders operated toll road stations at East and West Second Streets and South Superior Street. The money raised will be delivered to Camp Sunnyside as part of the statewide Pony Express ride on Saturday,March 30. Hamilton County Pony Express riders will also bring with them money raised from a dance held last month at the Moose Lodge. This year will mark the 46th annual ride to the Easter Seals camp near Des Moines. The camp helps disabled children and adults with recreational activities. The Hamilton County Pony Express Riders wish to thank everyone for their generous contributions on Saturday.
