New economic development director for Webster City announced.

Webster City City Manager Ed Sadler announced today the hiring of Bill Demuth as the new Economic Development Director for Webster City.

 Demuth has a great deal of experience, having worked several years at the Department of Economic Development for the State of Iowa.  He also has local economic development experience in South Carolina and Nebraska.  Demuth is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa

“I am pleased to be back in Iowa and am looking forward to working with Webster City citizens and leadership to grow the area economy” stated Demuth. His first day on the job is January 22nd.

Demuth replaces David Toyer, who left Webster City in May 2013 to take a position in Burlington, Iowa
