Homer to welcome antique tractor and machine enthusiasts this weekend.

Antique tractors and farm machinery will be part of a weekend of activity in Homer when the West Central Region Cockshutt and Co-op Club will have their annual summer threshing bee. The event will be held this Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:00 a.m. both days. Visitors will enjoy seeing the classic machinery of years gone by including a 1902 Port Huron Steam Engine, Cockshutt and Oliver Farm Equipment, Maytag Gas Engines, the Cecil Widick Family Antique Sawmill and demonstrations of oat threshing, baling and corn shelling.The Lehigh Lions will have a pancake breakfast Saturday morning from 8:00 until 11:00 a.m. The CPR Band will be playing from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
