Hamilton County's unemployment rate for February is released.

 The Iowa Workforce Development office released Hamilton County's unemployment report for February on Friday. The rate was at 7.5 percent down from the January rate of 8.2 percent. There were 6000 people who were employed in Hamilton County during February while 490 people were without work. Iowa's unemployment rate for February remained at 5 percent which was the same figure in January. The unemployment rates for the surrounding counties include Boone County at 4.7 percent,Franklin County at 5.6 percent, Hardin County at 6.3 percent, Story County at 3.8 percent, Webster County at 6.9 percent and Wright County at 5.7 percent.
