Here are the unofficial results from Hamilton County Auditor Kim Schaa in Tuesday's election...

For President and Vice President

Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan  3986 votes

Barack Obama/Joe Biden  3776 votes

 

U.S. House of Representative District 4

Steve King  3919

Christie Vilsack  3683

 

State Senate District 24

Jerry Behn   4141

Shelly Stotts  3310

 

State Representative District 48  

Rob Bacon  4266

Becky Perkovich  3175

 

Public Measure on the renewal of the Hamilton County Hotel Motel Tax

Yes  1421

No     707

 

Supreme Court Justice David Wiggins received 3583 No votes for retention while there were 3.042 Yes votes.

 

Van Diest Medical Center Board of Trustees

Carroll Ose and Myra Maxon were the top vote getters. Ose received 4,272 votes and Maxon with 3,751. They will be sworn in at a future board meeting. George Heller received 2,606

All of the Hamilton County elected officials  were unopposed for their seats in Tuesday's election. Auditor Kim Schaa received 6,476 votes. Supervisors Douglas Bailey with 1,620 votes and Wes Sweedler with 2,167 votes. Sheriff Denny Hagenson received a total of 5,722 votes. Paul Whitmore received 1,193 votes for the sheriff's position but announced last month he would not seek election.
