Fort Dodge Police investigating early Sunday morning robbery.

Fort Dodge Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Kum and Go at 115 North 22nd Street shortly after 3:00 Sunday morning. The clerk described a black male entering the store who was armed with a shotgun. The suspect demanded cash from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the robbery. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Although the clerk was shaken, no injuries were reported during the robbery. The suspect was between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds, blue jeans, black sweatshirt, and had a dark colored cloth mask partially covering the individual's face.
