Fort Dodge Police apprehend two individuals on Thursday.

 Police in Fort Dodge announced Thursday the apprehension of two suspects as a result of two separate incidents last Friday. 21 year old Devone Martell Hameed turned himself into the Fort Dodge Police Department on Thursday morning. Hameed was charged with Attempted Murder after being accused in the shooting  of 23 year old Cameron Carodine of Fort Dodge last Friday,June 20th in the 800 block of 4th Avenue North. Carodine was transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center for non life threatening injuries and was later released. Hameed is in the Webster County Jail in Fort Dodge..

Fort Dodge Police captured 23 year old Gregory Preston White Thursday afternoon.A Crime Stoppers tip lead officers to a house in the 1200 block of Sixth Avenue North in Fort Dodge where White was hiding. Officers searched the residence and discovered White was hiding in the attic.White was taken into custody without further incident to the Webster County Jail. He is facing charges of First Degree Arson, Second Degree Burglary, First Degree Criminal Mischief, Possession of a firearm as a felon and Second Degree Theft. White along with another Fort Dodge man 22 year old Tanner J. King are both accused in the burglary of the American Red Cross Training Center and at Bemrich Electric and Telephone last Friday morning. A fire heavily damaged the Bemrich building during the burglary.
