The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation on Monday evening awarded a total of $79,201 in grant monies to 16 organizations serving the people of Hamilton County during a ceremony at the Webster City Community Theater.Since the creation of the foundation in 2005,nearly $600,000 in grants have been awarded to organizations around the county. Here are the latest recipients of the latest grants:
Blairsburg Opera House received a grant for $1500 for storage units.
Boone Valley Izaak Walton League received a grant amount $4000 for electric improvement work.
Friends of Little Wall Lake received a grant for $6,750 for the restoration project at the lake south of Jewell.
Hamilton County Conservation received a grant of $1,663 for trail kiosks and panels.
Hamilton County Crimestoppers received a grant for $2,103 for marketing projects.
Hamilton County Fair Foundation received a grant for $15,000 for the third phase of the arena project.
Hamilton County S.E.E.D. received a grant for $9,000 in tourism and marketing projects.
Jewell J.A.D.E./Jade Foundation for $7,500 for rain gardens.
The City of Kamrar received $5,000 to be used for park improvements.
Kendall Young Library received a grant of $5,000 in digital archives.
Stanhope Development Group received a grant of $2,500 for playground improvements.
Stratford Library received a grant of $1,000 for building improvements.
The Webster City Community Theater to receive $5000 for phase two of their addition project.
Webster City Free Clinic to receive $4000 for the purchase of medications.
Williams Library to receive $4,685 in carpet and outlet work.
The Youth and Family Center to receive $4,500 for crisis counseling.
