Cropland Containers announces expansion at its Webster City facility

 Officials of Webster City Economic Development announced Tuesday afternoon that Cropland Containers,Incorporated  will be expanding their business operations in Webster City with the creation of 18 new jobs. Cropland Containers,Incorporated was awarded a $72,000 performance grant that will support their expansion project. Cropland Containers recently acquired two facilities in Webster City after they determined that Webster City was their ideal location expanding business operations and would best position their company for the future. In acquiring these two facilities, Cropland Containers will relocate a portion of its business from Minnesota to Webster City, resulting in the creation of 18 new jobs. The positions will be hired locally with the annual payroll for the jobs to be created is estimated at $354,000. Cropland Containers started in Webster City in 2009 and is associated with Stainlez,Incorporated of Blaine,Minnesota which was formed in 2001.  Cropland Containers offers sales and service of new and reconditioned agriculture containers and parts along with technical advice.
