The Clarion City Council will meet this afternoon at 5:00 at the city council chambers. The agenda includes an approval to the amendment to the city of Clarion on the engineer agreement for a housing development in the community. There will also be a discussion on the National Flood Insurance Program. The council will set the date for two public hearings. The first one is for the sale of property to further a proposed residential development. The second is for a lease proposal for a proposed hangar at the Clarion Municipal Airport. In other matters the Clarion city council will hold the third reading on a chaper for solid waste in the community. A resolution approving for the permanent easement for storm sewer right of way. Another resolution to be considered providing the issuance of $716,000 in general obligation storm water bonds and providing for the levy of taxes to pay the same will be discussed.
