"City Scene" goes electric.
Posted: Oct 11 2012 by ppowers

Beginning with the 4th quarter of 2012, the City Scene, the City of Webster City's quarterly newsletter will become an electronic newsletter or eNewsletter. Several factors were considered including the cost of printing and mailing and the fact that many people now prefer to receive information electronically rather than in the mail. The City Scene will take on a new design that will be more aesthetically appealing, including full color graphics and images, and allow much more flexibility. It will reside on the city's website at www.webstercity.com. The City will gather email addresses from interested citizens who want to receive a reminder each time a new edition is released. The City also understands that not everyone has access to the internet and there are citizens who will still prefer a printed copy. To serve this need, a limited number of black and white copies of the City Scene will be available at the Utility Department in City Hall and at Kendall Young Library. The City of Webster City is excited about enhancing the City Scene and looks forward to delivering information to the citizens of Webster City in a new and effective way. If you have any questions, please contact the City Manager's office at 832-9151.
