Big night for Honor Flight fund raiser in Webster City.

Saturday night's USO Show at Prem Sahai Auditorium netted $4500 to go towards the Honor Flight program. The Webster City High School raised the money to allow veterans from around the area board a plane for Washington,D.C. from Fort Dodge to spend the day touring the monuments and memorials all in one day.The next scheduled flights will be May 10 and again in September. The evening featured a meal served up by the Webster City FFA chapter,a silent auction and the entertainment at Prem Sahai Auditorium. There was comedy,dancing, singing,receitation of poetry and video interviews of Hamilton County veterans that served in World War 2. Director LuAnn Garvey thanks the community for their support of this show dedicated to the veterans who have served the United States.
